In an open-air museum and one of Tokyo’s most notable gardens, we will hold large-scale tea gatherings that bring together a number of tea schools. The elegant surroundings and an atmosphere that everyone – including non-Japanese and others unfamiliar with tea culture – will find readily accessible and enjoyable provide a broad introduction to people both within Japan and overseas of traditional tea ceremony culture, and the Edo-Tokyo culture that nurtured it.
