Kunitachi Art Center 2023

Genre:
  • Art Project ,
  • Workshop

30km and 40 minutes away from Shinjuku.
Many artists have studios and live in the Tama region, including in Kunitachi City.
Kunitachi Art Center is a program that extends across the city with exhibitions at studios, galleries, and stores dotted in and around Kunitachi City.
The program also offers a behind-the-scenes look at artwork creation – something not normally accessible to the public – as well as interest and enjoyment beyond simply viewing a work, something which arises out of communication with the artists themselves.
The program will be rolled out in neighborhoods, with the entire city as its domain. Going around the different exhibitions may help you rediscover the city, and produce new perspectives.
