Taking a broad perspective on the relationship between arts and culture and society, this is a lecture series designed to help participants develop the multi-faceted thinking abilities and skills essential to solving their problems, to creating new value, as well as to achieving their goals.
The program is basically a series of in-person lectures for participants selected through an open call, but some lectures will be made available online for anyone to view.

The following lectures will be conducted online with guest lecturers for each session and facilitators/advisors for the course as a whole, Tomonori Ogawa and Tomoko Wakabayashi.
Real-time lectures will feature Q&A sessions in which we will take questions and comments from participants.
■ Developing an evaluation axis for conveying the significance of activities
Lecturer: Yuriko Minamoto
– Learning the mindset and methodology of evaluation with the use of logic models
– Thinking about evaluation for extracting the “social value” of arts and culture-related projects
– Finding ways to strengthen your organization/activities by having an evaluation axis
■ Developing momentum for activities through dialog with practitioners: dialog, expression, and community development actualized through the concept of “under-expression ”
Lecturer: Midori Kubota
– Putting opportunities for continuing and developing activities and problems/issues into practice as projects
– Techniques for socializing art projects (What is the impact of living arts and culture on projects? Thinking about the possibilities)
– Practicing welfare using art-style techniques
■ Developing the ability to reconsider the value of arts and culture
Lecture: Hirokazu Koreeda
– Why is creative activity necessary for society?
– Taking an overview of the environment surrounding arts and culture, and objectively reassessing the value of activities
