TOKYO PAPER for Culture is a free newspaper published by Arts Council Tokyo with the aim of studying Tokyo culture. Each edition features various cultural figures as guest researchers, and popular columns contributed by a diverse array of writers. This live discussion series invites guests – people who have appeared on the pages of TOKYO PAPER for Culture, people who have helped with coverage and people Arts Council Tokyo would like to feature in the newspaper – to discuss Tokyo’s culture.

Focusing on “physicality” in terms of technology, art, performance, region, nature and the like, we take a look at the future as eyed by two women on the cutting edge. The audience is also encouraged to join guests in considering how to make the most of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games and its high-profile cultural program.
