An exhibition of new works by Shuta Hasunuma, who uses a wide range of expressive forms – including video, sound, sculpture, and installations – to present his works, applying the technique of composition as a musician to a diverse array of media.
The three key elements in the world of Western music are melody, harmony, and rhythm. Focusing on the theme of rhythm, Hasunuma extends the concept of rhythm beyond the chronological to present a variety of temporal and spatial movements as works of art. Dance performances and discussion events will also be held during the exhibition period.
