TRANS ARTS TOKYO is a prologue to the creation of a community art centre in the area of Kanda.
Going beyond genre, area, generation and interest, a wide variety of people will come together in the continual development of an art project which shared memories and expectations for the future.
Transcending all manner of things to take a visible form, this is surely the community art that Command N aims.
Command N
In 1998, Command N started artistic and creative activities aiming to create an environment to support and nurture artists, and to show society both the real significance and depth of the arts. By creating a cultural environment in which artists and their activities can make impact to the society, Command N stimulates activity in local areas and encourages cultural exchange inside and outside of Japan.
Command N also proactively expands the network and support the promotion and development of the arts in Japan.
