After their successful performance of Juro Miyoshi’s Buoy, they will attempt another one of his later plays, The Sinner. A group of talented actors has gathered to bring this 1952 play back to the modern world.

Gorch Brothers began life as the production department of the Stage Production Unit “Asagaya Spiders.” In June 2004, they incorporated on their own and began an actor management division, as well as production of performances outside of “Asagaya Spiders.” As of May 2013, they’re producing plays for “Asagaya Spiders,”Kuzukawa Shichosha,” “Kaki-Kuu-Kyaku,” and “Theatre des Annales.”
Kuzukawa Shichosha
A solo project began in 2011 by writer and director Keishi Nagatsuka. He not only creates plays, he takes existing Japanese works and translated works from overseas, as well as dramatizes novels to make his own original works. He incorporates workshops and readings into his writing process, and takes a very long view of the art of drama. He also does performances in the less populated areas of Japan, and aims to give his stimulating works a very wide audience.
