FAIFAI will be performing their Anton, Neko, Kuri in three cities in America. Anton, Neko, Kuri is a musical about a real cat with leukemia, and the everyday lives and conversations of the people who live within a 50 meter radius of him. The musical uses songs by Taro Yasuno in its script, and expresses our everyday life through words and music. An original subtitling system like that found on NicoNico, a Japanese subtitling site, removes the barriers between the subtitles and the work, and greatly enhances the atmosphere. The goal of this project is to share the cross-genre, mixed-media dramas of modern Tokyo with the whole world. Through their first project in America, they hope to meet local dramatists and perform research, as well as expand their skills and horizons by working on a new stage.
