The ANIME SAKKA ZAKKA anthology event presented screenings of new short animated films on the theme “One day.” The event also included a display of production materials, and a screening of behind-the-scenes footage of the creative process. The aim of the organizers was to heighten people’s interest in short animation, and allow them to enjoy the differences in approach to the theme.
Six animators took part: Moe Koyano, Yukie Nakauchi, Taijin Takeuchi, Minori Yamada, Yoko Yuki and Manami Wakai. All are animation artists in their 20s and 30s who are active at home and abroad.
