The protagonist is a workaholic 40-year old single woman who comes to hold the ideal of educating an immature boy and raising him into her perfect man. One day the protagonist meets the beautiful young man Naomi. She begins living with him, in the spirit of “looking after a little bird.” Naomi, who started off shy and unrefined, gradually uses his good looks to behave wildly and recklessly; and completely at his mercy, the protagonist is led towards her ruin…

A theatrical unit formed in 2010 by playwright and director Peyounne Maki. The troupe continually produces works that channel the alternating joys and sorrows of women on the edge into a cynical humor that exhibits a uniquely female mix of intransigence and flexibility, all the while revealing the true state of contemporary Japan.
