This concert can attend everyone from 0 years old freely. And the parents feel refreshed by listening classic music and little kids feel familiar with the arts. We think that may contribute to Japanese art culture in future. We also appoint talented young artists as performers to make more chance to perform, and to raise the leader of promoting arts in the future. Yuna Toki (violinist), and Michiaki Ueno (cellist), performed as a soloist and Yuki Ishihara (violinist, conductor and composer), performed as a conductor at the concert. The orchestra consists of students and graduates of Tokyo University of the Arts, Toho Gakuen College Music Department, Tokyo College of Music and overseas Berlin University of the Arts, Royal Academy of Music, Robert-Schumann-Hochschule Düsseldorf. They learn and play an active part in the world. The program is P. Tchaikovsky : Violin Concerto Op.35, E. Elgar cello Concerto Op.85, P. Tchaikovsky : Symphony No.5 and Disney medley. We also made children experience conducting the orchestra.
Baby & Mama ART
Baby & Mama ART organizes classic concerts every month which everyone from 0 years old can attend freely. We have had not only various kinds of instrumental concerts, but also ballet and musical highlights, which would be rare events for children and parents to beable to participate in. With our hope “young children to listen to wonderful live classic music” and “parents who have young child to have a relax time”, we already presented 34 concerts and we are glad that over 10,000 people came to our series until now. After each concert, we make time to touch and try instruments for children and to communicate with performers in order to get
more familiar with music. In addition, we book young talented musicians such as students of Tokyo University of Arts, which is one of the highest level music universities in Japan, to nurture artists who assume the music field in the future. Through this concerts series which connect between children, families and young talented musicians, we hope to get more familiar with classic music and arts.
