For this work Spacenotblank expanded the creative methods it has engaged in thus far as a collective, using a work originally written by Ryo Ikeda and music produced by Masashi Nukata. The additional elements of a story-driven approach and musicality to a directorial style that specializes in the expression of actors’ identities meant there was more for Spacenotblank to share with its audience, offering a wide range of pointers and breadth to feed the audience’s imagination. This piece was implemented as an effective starting point to continue with the style and method of this production going forward and keep creating stage works encompassing new values.
