Themed around the exhibitions, performances and events organized at unconventional sites and venues, including on the streets, by young artists who were active principally in Tokyo in the early 1990s, this research-based exhibition featured a display of related works as well as interviews with participating artists, related artists, eyewitnesses and organizers, literature surveys and archive displays. Related events during the exhibition period included a talk by The Group 1965, a participatory performance of “Inter Dis-Communication Machine” by Kazuhiko Hachiya, and a closing talk with exhibiting artists.

In 2010 it opened 3331 Arts Chiyoda, an independent arts center housed in a repurposed junior high school, with the aim of creating a new base for the transmission of culture and the arts. Under the philosophy of “an art center open to the community” and “an artist initiative,” the group operates a variety of projects chiefly concerning the planning and production of arts and culture-related exhibitions, special events, community revitalization activities and more. The center continuously provides the space and the chance for everyone, including artists and local residents, to come into contact with arts and culture on a daily basis.
