“An Unknown Actor,” the film created under this project, involves the personal history and fiction of a movie actor. It is the portrayal of a contemporary individual living and working in Tokyo, drawn through the eyes of the lead actor on whom the movie was modeled, Kagetora Miura.
Our aim with this project was to fortify and encourage diverse ways of life for individuals, and at the same time to bring audiences up to speed with the sustainability of filmmaking in Tokyo.
