Outline

The fourth Ogen/blik event has been held online. Ogen/blik is a concert series originating in the Netherlands based on cross-disciplinary works delivered through the media of music, physical performance, and video. As well as a live networked improvisational performance in which two performers in different locations in the Netherlands and Finland were connected in real time and played one instrument, the event featured pieces utilizing a digital musical score system and hand-made musical instruments, audiovisual works, etc. The concert produced a range of musical expressions offering a new slant on our volatile times.
Along with talk sessions held before and after the performances plus archive video footage, the event was streamed to a large audience in Japan and overseas.

Exhibiting artists: Edwin van der Heide (the Netherlands), Yannis Kyriakides (Greece), Maya Felixbrodt (Israel), Darien Brito (Ecuador), Taro Yasuno, Hibiki Mukai, Motoki Ohkubo, Akiko Ushijima+Kei Fushiki (video), Momoko Noguchi

Performers: Aki Kitajima (cello), Shizuka Kuretani (piano), Sho Kubota (percussion)
