Outline

Two projects will be produced as related programs in connection with the exhibition “Another Energy: Power to Continue Challenging – 16 Women Artists from around the World,” presented jointly by Mori Art Museum and precog Co., Ltd. The programs, including performances and video transmissions, will take place in locations around the Roppongi, Toranomon, Akasaka and Aoyama areas.

– In the new workshop project led by artist Takayuki Yamamoto, participants including children aged 6 to 10 will learn about gender diversity through a presentation on gender manifestation in fish. A musical will be produced, and the filming of the performance will be broadcast live. Scenes from the workshop will also be shown as a trailer.
Program period: Saturday, June 5 – Sunday, September 5, 2021
Venues: Mori Art Museum, Goethe-Institut Tokyo

– This program, featuring dancer/choreographers Tomohiko Tsujimoto and Koharu Sugawara, will explore gender-related thinking and values through dance. Participants (young people aged 15-22) will have opportunities to produce and present a video wor expressing their unique individuality.
