Outline

This is a special exhibition of four new works in the “2D Painting” series on the theme of pictorial space which artist group YOF – comprising Ryu Furusawa, Takayoshi Ohara, and Tomoyuki Yanagawa – has worked on continuously since 2019.
This project reconsiders the relationship between color and space as it has repeatedly come to be treated in the context of visual art including painting, and the viewer’s independence in the act of viewing, as well as presenting new possibilities for perceptual experience.
