An independent wind and percussion ensemble formed in 2016 by young musicians who share an awareness of the various challenges surrounding the practice of music in contemporary society. With Yasuaki Itakura as its Music Director, the ensemble engages in creative activities that revolve around works of contemporary music focusing on wind and percussion.
In addition to so far having performed a total of 21 series-based concerts at Nonaka Anna Hall six times a year, centering on six regular concerts, the ensemble has also appeared in broadcasts of NHK-FM “Contemporary Music,” and its current activities are attracting attention from various quarters as being representative of a new direction for wind instrument music.
