“Shinjuku Street Theater” is an initiative in which citizens and artists collaborate to transform the most accessible “usual place” in the city into a “theater”. This time, top-class artists from Czech and Japan have come together to create excellent art for people of all ages, from children to adults, regardless of nationality.
We have the following five barrier-free concepts. (nationality, disability, age, economy, region).

We – Puk Puppet Theater deeply pursue the characteristics of puppetry, while at the same time placing importance on the sociality and artistry of theater. We working to strengthen cooperation with artists of all genres to develop artistic creation. In addition, as an artist group open to the world, we will expand the range of collaborative exchanges with domestic and foreign theaters and performers and strive to develop and popularize traditional and contemporary Japanese puppetry. We will contribute to the well-being and social peace of all children and people. We provide an excellent theater experience for everyone.
