With the assistance of professionals, the final presentation will enable participants to get firsthand experience of full-fledged live performance.

Publicity methods for the recruitment of participants (collaboration, cooperation, networking, etc.)
In partnership with Ota City Cultural Promotion Association, we will put up and distribute flyers to recruit participants at cultural facilities and cultural events in Ota City. We will also ask culture-related organizations for their cooperation in publicizing the event.

Ways to enable participants to continue with practical skills experience (other than programs covered by this grant) after the end of the event
For those who wish to continue with classes after the final presentation, we can introduce venues (in Omori, Asakusa, Ningyocho, Hachioji, Urayasu, etc.) that meet participants’ different requirements.

Profile

Wagoto K.K.
Since its establishment in 2018 by Hogaku Hayashi performer Fukuhara Tsurujuro, Wagoto has hosted the concert series, “Wagoto hogaku live.” As well as “Ii ne, Oedo” (I like Oedo) and “Ohayashi concert” events, the group runs numerous friendly and informal events like workshops and lectures which make traditional Japanese music enjoyable and accessible. Its activities are designed to promote and disseminate Hogaku, such as the production and distribution in 2020 of an educational DVD for elementary and junior high schools in Tokyo which introduces traditional Japanese music and musical instruments in an easy-to-understand way.
