Event features
Participants will be divided into groups according to experience. The common goal of each group over a total of 4 practice sessions will be to each give an ensemble performance on the final day at the National Theatre (Large Theatre), where they will showcase what they have learned.
Publicity methods for the recruitment of participants (collaboration, cooperation, networking, etc.)
Securing the support of Shinjuku-ku to get 60 facilities in Shinjuku-ku to carry and display flyers.
We also working on appealing for participants via social media.
Ways to enable participants to continue with practical skills experience (other than programs covered by this grant) after the end of the event
For those wishing to continue individual lessons or cultural lessons, we can introduce instructors and musical instrument stores according to individual needs.
General Incorporated Association Nagauta Touon-kai
Comprising members of all ages mainly hailing from Tokyo University of the Arts, Touon-kai is a performance ensemble aimed at cultivating members who have proper Nagauta performance abilities and widely promoting Nagauta through the organization of study groups and lectures as well as performances, regardless of members’ different schools and styles.
