Taking in the Sumida River, Kanda River, Nihonbashi River, Kitajukken River and including the old Edo Castle outer moat, this after-dark boat cruise offered arts-based entertainment. Participants experienced fragments of events and incidents shaped by the rivers along with audio guides, performance, readings, and exhibits put together by the participating artists, who comprised Tetsuya Umeda, Sota Kodera, Takafumi Sakanaka, Tomotoshi, Nao Mizusawa, Atsushi Yamamoto, and Shiori Watanabe.
【Token Association】
An organization formed on November 29, 2019. At its Token Art Center base, the group proactively holds exhibitions by artists who engage in commercially challenging project-based artworks and installation pieces. With an interest in launching and promoting works outside the typical ‘white cube’ gallery setting, to date Token has also organized exhibitions in factories, planetariums, parks, on rivers, and elsewhere.
