In this project, organizers Yui Watanabe and Mao Yamamoto present part of their own works as works-in-progress. They will use audience reaction to the performances to continue working on and to complete the pieces after the end of this project before staging them with their respective troupes.

Engeki Unit Nimoji
A theatrical unit comprising playwright/directors Yui Watanabe and Mao Yamamoto with actor Mizuki Hayashi.
As a general rule, Nimoji’s productions involve the performing together of works written and directed by Watanabe and Yamamoto respectively. Moreover, rather than presenting finished works, works still undergoing production are staged as works-in-progress.
After receiving feedback from audiences at Nimoji performances, the two continue to work on production and present finished works with their own separate theater groups.
