Outline

International film festivals are global gateways which open up possibilities for careers and works of documentary filmmakers. In this two-part forum, directors, producers, sales agents, curators, and other speakers contributed to a series of symposiums, lectures, dialogues, and workshops. There were also online sessions with overseas participants. The event provided an opportunity for people involved in documentary film, including filmmakers and viewers, to gather together and share their experiences and knowledge, and to discover new ways to enjoy and utilize film and film festivals. Many documentary filmmakers and programmers participated in the organizing of the event, making it a fruitful opportunity for the documentary film community to learn from each other.
