A piano trio concert with a classical music program by Yugen Trio. The aim of the concert content was to convey the appeal of chamber music to more people, and to offer a classical concert enabling even people who do not normally go to concerts to not only listen with their ears but see with their eyes, feel with their skin, and use their whole body.

Mika Yamamoto
After graduating from Toho Gakuen School of Music, she moved to Germany and studied for a master’s at the Music Conservatory in Nuremberg under W. Manz. After graduating with the highest unanimous score, Yamamoto went on to do a post-graduate diploma. In 2018, she formed the piano trio Yugen Trio as a fixed ensemble, winning numerous international competitions. In Japan in 2019 the Trio garnered the Barocksaal Prize at the Aoyama Music Awards, described at the time of winning as an ensemble with “an elegant sound.” In 2022, the Trio’s German performance tour featuring paintings, music and theater and held under a German government subsidy (Neustart Kultur), was well received.
