kasane
Kasane is a project started in 2022 for string instruments and electronics. The project gets its name from “kasane no irome,” a tradition of layering different colors of silk clothing to create various tones. The aim is to put forward new possibilities for string instruments through the variety of expressions produced by adding layers of electronic sound to the tones of string instruments.
