Outline

Restrictions on movement under the pandemic have been relaxed, and people are now a little more free to move around. Tets Ohnari and Ryuta Iida drove around four countries from the Czech Republic to Romania, undertaking residencies in various towns and cities in Central and Eastern Europe. By holding an exhibition in their final destination Romania and by engaging in the artwork production they would normally do in Tokyo in different countries, they broadly communicated the distinctiveness of Japan through the presentation of their works.
