Experimental Film Culture in Japan focuses on introducing films that lack exposure in Japan, regardless of genre. The program showcases films that are not defined by any particular framework – commercial, documentary or art films to name a few. Exploring diversity in content and style, we aim to create a neutral platform where both filmmakers and audiences can share in the spirit of the experimental.
