Seven dancers conducted workshops with participants from diverse backgrounds and co-created dance videos set in Fukagawa, an area which is replete with a downtown atmosphere. The theme this time around was “Hanatsu” (“release”).

“Revealing what has been hidden”
“Releasing thoughts and feelings hidden inside”
“Freeing yourself by letting go of fixations, prejudices and stereotypes”

Based on simple movements resting on the interpretation of each instructor, highly energetic dances were created together with the participants. The completed dances were streamed online as video works.
