Outline

Noh musicians use their own words to express how interesting Noh is ,both domestically and internationally.
We introduce Noh in two languages,Japanese and French at the Roppongi Striped House Gallery with works by installation artists.
First, Ichicho “Houka-zo” and Maibayashi “Hanjo” are performed and after that, these firms are used in the Internet for introduce Noh to French children .And we also published it in the Internet to many people through limited time free distribution.

Profile

Haruna Okamoto
Professional musician (Kotsuzumi, shoulder percussion) of Japanese traditional theater, Noh. Studied under Toyozumi-Kanze and Shinkuro-Kanze(Both are Grandmaster of shoulder drum of noh, Kanze school.)Born in Japan, graduated from Ochanomizu University in Tokyo. Member of THE NOHGAKU PERFORMERS ASSOCIATION and TOKYO HAYASHIKA ASSOCIATION.

Teaching music of noh in prefecture Kanagawa, Shizuoka and Tokyo.
Been doing workshops about Noh in the French language at Striped House Gallery for years.
