Tatsuki Narita performed solo violin pieces by two composers of contemporary music. The concert featured a total of twelve pieces, including Bach’s Partitas and new works. The event also featured a talk session on the relationship between Japanese clothing culture (aka street fashion) and Western music.

mumyo is an artist collective for art and contemporary music projects organized by composers Akiko Yamane and Yuri Umemoto with violinist Tatsuki Narita. mumyo llc was established to allow the group to conduct its activities on a permanent basis. It was named “mumyo” by musician Ryuichi Sakamoto.
