To introduce and promote the culture of Edo and Yoshiwara, known as the Yoshiwara era, through the traditional art of rakugo, beloved by people of all ages. To contribute to the revitalization of the city known as Yoshiwara during the Edo period. And to draw attention to Yoshiwara from people all over Japan and the world, establishing it as an important place for conveying Tokyo’s Edo culture. Our purpose is not only to showcase it as a red-light district but also to pass down the correct perception and culture of Yoshiwara to future generations. To achieve this goal, we organize rakugo performances, Yoshiwara rakugo workshops, and guided tours of Yoshiwara.”
