This project was an international exhibition project by four young architects from each of Japan and the United States. The exhibition was held in galleries in both Japan and the U.S. for approximately one month each. The exhibition began in Tokyo at the “Shinjuku White House” designed by Arata Isozaki, and featured four groups of Japanese and American architects: ANY, Chibbernoonie, Departamento del Distrito, GROUP, Korogaro Association, Rui Itasaka, sam clovis + georgina baronian & associates, and suzuko yamada architects paired up to collaborate on an installation/renovation. The process and results were exhibited at a83 in NYC with Tokyo contemporary artists Natsumi Aoyagi, Misai Kono, Rintaro Fuse, Arata Mino, Kei Murata, and ARCHI HATCH.

With a focus on the mutual, interactive relationship between architecture, art, politics, labor, and urban history, the architectural collective GROUP engages in critical activities through exhibitions. Through architectural projects, GROUP aims to build a platform enabling people with different expertise to collaborate in a hypothetical and continuous way.
