With the release of their 8th album in 2021, and the reissue of their two albums released in 1998 and 2021, Buffalo Daughter aimed to further expand their fan base and promote music-driven exchange between Japan and other countries.
The four band members for the tour were suGar Yoshinaga(guitar, vocals, other), Yumiko Ohno(bass, keyboards, vocals), Takeru Okumura (sampling, keyboards, computers) and Masahiro Komatsu (drums). The North American tour staff were joined by Koji Fukumoto (tech , driver) and Rosemary Ellis (tour manager, sound engineer, driver).
Buffalo Daughter
The band was formed in 1993 by three members living in Tokyo. Since making its overseas debut in 1998, the band has performed live in Japan and overseas, and earned a reputation for musical prowess.
One band member is currently unwell, so the band is performing with two members (suGar Yoshinaga and Yumiko Ohno) and two tour members (Takeru Okumura and Masahiro Komatsu).
