SENJU NINJOU ART FESTIVAL is a platform that welcomes diverse artists, deeming the exchange of values and emotions between people as “ninjou,”or the “milk of human kindness.” The ONE-DAY PERFORMANCE“HYOGENGAI”EXPRESSION STREET initiative used as its venue Senju Honcho Shopping Street (the old Nikko Kaido), which since the Edo period has been a place where human interaction and culture have taken root. In addition to 48 performers from a variety of genres brought together through an open call demonstrating their expressive forms around the neighborhood, 3 guest artists (Makoto Nomura + Pun Music Study Group, Aoi Nogi, Kentaro Onishi) also gave special performances.
