The production team that staged “THE COUNCIL” online during the coronavirus pandemic has performed the work in a theater with some new members. By having all the actors involved in organization, the troupe explored how to create theater that is not centralized in the traditional way. It also focused on accessibility, making tablets with Japanese and English subtitles available to rent, and providing explanatory talks on the production prior to every performance.
