W COMER “H” SOKERISSA! is a performance group focusing on physical expression that stems from members’ physical experience and memory of life of the streets. Together with a range of local residents including people with disabilities and children, a dance work was produced in a two-day creative workshop covering the process from creation to performance, and then performed using the entire park on a Saturday afternoon, when it was crowded with local people.
DRIFTERS INTERNATIONAL
DRIFTERS INTERNATIONAL aims at new value creation through collaboration across multiple fields such as architecture, community development, design, social inclusion, performing arts, and media arts. It contributes to improvement in the environment for creative activities, the promotion of experimental creative activities, the cultivation of artists and art managers, and the bolstering of the social value of arts and culture, etc., in particular through projects related to human resource development, local revitalization, and art festivals. Moreover, through collaboration with local communities, welfare facilities, etc., the organization aims to develop an environment for producing socially minded projects.
The organization aspires to create projects through which arts and culture can contribute to a richer society.
