“The Bag” is a short story by Kobo Abe.
The story features a young man looking for a job, the narrator, who works in an office, and the young man’s bag.
Based on the original work “The Bag,” this work looks at these three as characters; performers freely cross over into each other’s roles in the depiction of this strange story of two men and a bag.

VONNOS
A contemporary dance company comprising Yuki Kamimura and Kae Kubo.
The two engage in creative activities under the base concept that dance is a movement-led art form. Each of them has experience of classical ballet, which serves as the basis for their movements. In addition to performing its works in Japan and overseas, VONNOS has also been involved in many collaborations in recent years. The company continues to explore the potential of the body while also holding dance workshops for different age groups to encourage intergenerational exchange and engaging in the creation of performance pieces.
