【Friends of El Sistema Japan】
El Sistema Japan was founded in 2012 with the aim of children regaining their self-confidence and dignity through music and developing the power to live their own lives. Activities were first started in Soma City, Fukushima and Otsuchi Town, Iwate, which were both damaged following the Great East Japan Earthquake. From 2017, it expanded to Komagane City, Nagano and Tokyo and started in Toyonaka City, Osaka and Maizuru City, Kyoto in 2022 and Ensemble Ribon project for group homes in 2023. Looking forward to the next 10 years, El Sistema has developed a new vision, “A collaborated society where everyone can be free and creative”.
