Outline

The Session House Young Dancer Support Project is a new program with two key elements: Session House Award Dance Flower and Dance Flower Advanced.
The Dance Flower Award features performances of “dances that people want to see again” chosen from the Session House Non-Selective Program Theater 21 Fes. Performances will take place twice a year (10 works in total), with the best work each year being selected to receive the Session Best Award.
Dance Flower Advanced focuses on performances of work by outstanding young choreographers chosen from those whose works have featured in Session House dance programs. The first stage will take place in September, in the form of performances followed by a Dancer Conference held in collaboration with young researchers, providing a forum for critique and analysis. The second stage will see the work performed once more in January, with the aim of enhancing the quality of the works. This new program aims to take dancers and works alike to the next level, in order to create an internationally acclaimed contemporary dance scene.
