As a one of the most important purpose, we will try to organize Digital Archive about Ko Murobhshi that we can see on Web site. He passed away suddenly when people start to recognize about importance and Value of his Dance philosophy. So we want to try to pass the way of his thought to next generation. And for that purpose, we will establish “Murobushi Research International Conference”that would be organized with researchers from Japan and other countries and we will pass our research to all over the world. We hope that Dancers who have contact with this activities will continue their experimental way as Dancer.
A collateral event is scheduled to be held at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Building No.1 on February 22, 2016.
【Ko&Edge】
Ko&Edge was established in 2015 after Ko Murobushi was passed away to organize materials as an archive and to organize project.
We are organizing “Wandering Archive Project” in all over the world as inheritance of his last event that was held at Yokohama in 2013, it called [One thousand and one nights of “outside”]. Also we published his texts from Kawade Shobou Shinsha this January. We will also continue to contact with publishers to publish translated book.
As our plan, we will continue “Wandering Archive Project” in London, Mexico and several other countries and also try to bring “Archive Café Shy” to Dance Festival as a place where we can discuss and exchange our idea freely through thinking about “Dance”.
