Genre:
  • Art Project ,
  • Lecture / Symposium

TERATOTERA develops a range of art projects in districts along the JR Chuo Line. As its concluding event for this year, the creative group is holding a symposium called “Moving the West” at Musashino Art University.
With less than three years to go until the Olympics in 2020, Tokyo is set to undergo further change with the construction of stadiums and an increased number of overseas visitors.
Focusing on areas like Hachioji, Tama and Koganei, the TERATOTERA symposium will explore the future possibilities for western Tokyo, inviting guest speakers active in various fields such as artist support, community development and urban planning. Residents of these communities or people interested in art projects and urban planning are welcome to attend.
