Geigeki Selection
LE POLYGRAPHE

A much-anticipated revival of a Robert Lepage and Mitsuru Fukikoshi production first staged in Paris. A stunning spectacle of body and image, light and shadow.

Genre:
  • Theater / Dance ,
  • Performance

Mitsuru Fukikoshi has directed a version of Robert Lepage’s representative piece from his earlier career. This was first staged in 2012 and highly acclaimed with its strong visual impact and innovative stage work. In reply to enthusiastic requests for restaging, this program has been made possible with the same casting, starting in Paris. Three casts of men and a woman perform mysterious tricks of “body” and “visual sense” and invite the audience to the beautiful “labyrinth.”
