As part of the “Rebirth of Light” Project, we are holding workshops with special guests from a variety of fields to explore the direction of the project. This workshop will feature a discussion with special guest Hiroko Kikuchi, a community designer.

As a community designer who uses art as a tool to highlight people’s ideas and undertake people-centered urban development, Ms. Kikuchi plays an active role in a variety of settings both within Japan and overseas, having been involved in projects for Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and Aichi Triennale 2013.
At this workshop, participants will consider communication within the Roppongi district, where “Counter Void” is located, and the internal communication required when undertaking a project that involves numerous people.
