BLOOMING EAST is a project set around eastern Tokyo in which artists meet a variety of people, visit a variety of places and conduct research based on their personal interests.This year musician Saho Terao did research on the eastern Tokyo area together with KOM_I (of Wednesday Campanella).
Saho Terao focused on the theme of “war orphans and the church,” while KOM_I looked at “immigrants.”
The open research of this project follows the viewpoints of musicians and research member based on the people and places they encounter in their respective research and findings this year,as they move around the Funabori and Horikiri area.We are looking for people to join us as we progress towards the next phase of research.
・People who can relate to BLOOMING EAST projects and are contemplating taking part in upcoming research
・People interested in topics such as war orphans, the church, child welfare,the lives of non-Japanese living in Japan, overseas culture etc.
Free (the project will incur costs related to travel, food and drink etc.)
