Experience autumn performances of the traditional art of “Noh” in the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum’s urban grove. The themes of this open-air event are “the mountains” and “the sea”. The first evening features “Kurozuka (The Black Mound)”, and the following day presents “Funa-Benkei (Benkei in a Boat)”. Both are dynamic pieces and Noh staples, with themes that explore humanity. Enjoy the traditional beauty of these performances in a natural setting, nestled in a quiet corner of the metropolis.
