Capacity building program 2024 : Call for participants

Genre:
  • Lecture / Symposium

Polishing a path for sustainable activities in arts and culture

Taking a broad perspective on the relationship between arts and culture and society, this is a lecture series designed to help participants develop the multi-faceted thinking abilities and skills essential to solving their problems, to creating new value, as well as to achieving their goals.
Instructors, facilitators/advisors, and program participants will interact through lectures, workshops, discussions, and interviews, etc. While supporting the building of cross-disciplinary networks, the program will create opportunities for participants to realize their own projects and plans.
Our society is facing challenges like a falling birthrate as well as an ageing population, changes to the international situation, and climate change. With various measures being implemented, efforts are also underway in the field of arts and culture to respond to new systems, as well as to review and expand the infrastructure for projects and activities.
