As it sprinkles the seeds of harmonious, ringing sound around the East Tokyo area, the Topping East project strives to advance the concept of creating music from within the city setting. Organizers will work to explore the horizons of music in public spaces and find the optimal balance of music and community by opening stores and facilities to public creativity, sponsoring open parades, and organizing other participatory music activities in the constantly evolving East Tokyo area, where Sky Tree and Shitamachi tourism continues to develop and thrive.
