This project aims to take a fresh look at the cultural value of the metropolis by identifying the diversity and individuality of places that embody Tokyo’s unique nature and spreading the word about them. It will utilize a “stay” — a visit providing a perspective halfway between that of a tourist and a resident — as a technique for unearthing this value and will explore the effectiveness of this approach.
