This program focuses on research activities aimed at putting in place the infrastructure for carrying out art projects, and seeks to develop skills and systems tailored to challenges actually encountered on the front lines of such activities.
To date, in partnership with experts and researchers, project participants have developed techniques for archiving art projects; studied recording, surveying, verification, and evaluation; and conducted research focused on new forms of artistic expression. The outcomes of this research are disseminated widely by various means, including TARL’s official website. The program offers some opportunities for participation in the research process, via public seminars and the like.
